About Us

Bath's Historic Venues are delightful and unusual settings for weddings, parties, conferences and receptions.

At the heart of the World Heritage city, Bath’s Historic Venues are beautiful buildings that were originally built for hospitality and entertainment. 

Our Team

Tom Deller - Corporate Hospitality Manager

Tom has been working at Bath's Historic Venues since 2000 and is responsible for the Venue Hire department. Tom's role includes managing the budget, leading new technologies that will streamline the booking process and business development. However, Tom still likes to keep involved in the sales process so you may well see him on show rounds or answering the phone.

Random Fact: Tom set up and ran a comedy club for 6 years, that is still running to this day!

Louise Nicholson - Client Liaison Manager

Louise has been with Bath's Historic Venues since 2010 and is responsible for making final arrangements for events. Having previously owned her own wedding planning business, Louise loves dealing with the details relating to functions, but is equally happy conducting show rounds and answering clients queries.

Random Fact: Louise is also a qualified Architect!

Gemma Reynolds - Marketing Executive (currently on maternity leave)

Gemma has been with the team at Bath's Historic Venues since 2004 and is jointly responsible for the marketing of all our exceptional venues with Lizzie.  Gemma has a special interest in digital marketing and social media and so you will often find her tweeting our latest news and offers. Gemma job shares and is in the office on Thursdays and Fridays.

Random Fact: Gemma once had drinks with Nicolas Cage!

Lizzie Marshall - Marketing Executive

Lizzie has been working for Bath's Historic Venues since 2005 and is responsible for the marketing of all of our venues. Lizzie deals with both corporate and wedding marketing, job shares with Gemma and works Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Random Fact: Lizzie used to work at The Royal Festival Hall and loves Zumba!

Debs Coutts - Sales Executive

Debs is the newest member of the Bath's Historic Venues team and is responsible for the sales of our beautiful buildings. Debs is most happy introducing clients to the venues and having previously worked at the Fashion Museum, is especially well placed to conduct tours of the Assembly Rooms.

Random Fact: Debs is married to an 'eccentric inventor' so her life is never dull!


Searcys Team

Caro Pearson-Brown - Sales & Events Co-Ordinator

Caro has been with Searcys for over 20 years and is responsible for the sales team at Searcys within Bath’s Historic Venues. Her day to day role includes meeting with clients to understand their catering needs and preparing bespoke details for their event. With Caro’s knowledge of food and drinks, plus her background in new restaurant openings, recruitment and training, Caro is perfectly placed to coordinate your plans.

Random Fact : Caro speaks fluent Italian and loves all things Italy!

Emma Collingwood - Sales and Events Co-Ordinator

Emma joined the team in 2013 and deals with clients daily to prepare detailed catering programmes specific to their requirements. With a strong background in the hotel industry, she believes organisation and customer service are paramount, and her clients would agree!

Random Fact : Emma was a hotel duty manager at the age of 18!

Charlotte Andrews - Sales and Events Co-Ordinator

Charlotte loves meeting new people and believes that your personality and attention to detail is what matters the most within events. Before working as Wedding and Events Co-ordinator in a hotel, Charlotte worked overseas for a number of years both performing herself and managing teams of entertainers and musicians.

Random Fact: Charlotte is a trained salsa dancer!

Amanda Jones - Sales Manager

Amanda began working for Searcys in 2015 and brings with her a wealth of sales and event experience gained through working in a variety of high profile venues.  Amanda is responsible for account management, developing business leads and new sales, so if you are keen to find out more about our venues, Searcys, and why to bring your event to Bath, Amanda is your go-to contact!

Random Fact: Amanda left Ireland to become a Blue Peter Presenter!

Graham Plumb - General Manager

Graham has been at the Pump Room for nearly 30 years and is responsible for leading Searcys catering team within Bath’s Historic Venues. Having trained as a chef at Westminster College and the Ritz Hotel London, Graham was head chef at the Pump Room for 12 years before becoming General Manager in 1998. Graham believes that by having a team of staff who understand customer requirements, and then aiming to exceed these expectations, is the key to success.

Random Fact : Graham won the Jiff Lemon pancake race in London in 1980 something!
