The Assembly Rooms and Fashion Museum
The Assembly Rooms
are part of a stunning Grade I listed building, dating back to
1771.
Still adorned with the original Whitefriars
crystal chandeliers and housing portraits by Gainsborough, Ramsey
and Hoare. The Assembly Rooms is made up of three rooms
- The Ball Room, The Tea Room and The
Octagon. In addition the Card
Room can be used as a bar for evening events. The Fashion Museum is also situated within the
building and is home to one of the world’s finest collection of
fashionable dress, creating an inspiring venue for any
occasion.
The Roman Baths and Pump Room
This is without doubt one of the most
delightful historic buildings in the country. Situated in the very
heart of a World Heritage City this unique venue is
amongst the most elegant and atmospheric venues in the country.
The Roman Baths
Dating back nearly 2000 years it is hard to
imagine a more magical setting then the torchlit Great Bath. Guests
can mingle alongside the steaming waters of the Baths and enjoy its
unique atmosphere.
The Terrace and
Reception Hall
Overlooking the Great Bath this viewing
terrace is in itself the perfect venue for a dinner. The
Terrace also adjoins the Reception Hall - perfect to end an
evening with some music and dancing.
The Pump Room
The stunning Georgian Pump Room, built in
1795, is an elegant room that is perfect for an evening seated
dinner dance.
The Kingston
Room and The Drawing Room
There are also two more intimate period rooms
with views across to Bath Abbey, available for weddings, meetings
and events throughout the day.
The Guildhall
The Guildhall with its imposing façade is a
masterpiece of neo-classical decoration.
The Banqueting
Room and Aix-en-Provence
Room
With one of the most impressive Georgian
interiors in Bath, the Banqueting Room has spectacular decor and
stunning crystal chandeliers. This is the perfect venue for any
occasion. Adjoining is the beautiful Aix-en-Provence Room ideal for
a pre-dinner drinks reception or wedding ceremony.
In addition The Guildhall holds the
smaller Kaposvar Room, The Council Chamber and The
Brunswick Room perfect for meetings and break out rooms.
The Victoria Art Gallery
The Victoria Art
Gallery is an unusual and inspiring choice for a drinks or
canapé reception. The city’s art gallery displays the area’s
permanent collection of British and European fine art as well as a
varied and imaginative programme of touring / one off exhibitions.
There are paintings to suit all tastes, including famous masters by
Gainsborough, Turner and Sickert.
